OK, it's not much to look at... but please put this in context: It's circa 1990! This is the design of an 8 page digest of The New York Times, published daily and quite literally FAXED around the world to Hotels, Embassies, Military Bases, Navy and Cruise Ships. It was a real challenge! Eventually with the advent of PDFs, we were emailing a printable edition. At the time, only a few standard "Postscript" typefaces were permitted and memory usage was a real constraint. This edition had to print on virtually any printer on the planet. TimesFax later evolved into an "Internet Edition" which was the great grandfather of NYTimes.com!
